The Freedom Rocker is an automated blot washer. It is a very quiet laboratory platform rocker with a pump and a microprocessor for precise timing and user programming of protocols. It automatically processes blots and gels. It frees you from babysitting your samples by relieving you from the frequent pouring of liquids to and from trays. Same as the FRSKDX4, but also includes the multi-dispense feature, which enables the dispensing of a different reagent, i.e. antibody, into each of the trays (but they cannot be collected separately).

Rocking continues after the final rinse and the wash buffer remains in the trays to prevent the blots or gels from dessicating.

Uses existing protocols. Programming is easy and follows standard protocols steps. Can program up to 9 steps where each step is an immersion in a reagent (e.g. antibody) or a series of washes. Each step - Select dispense from any of 3 reagents/buffers. Reagents will be dispensed and aspirated to all the trays simultaneously, for consistent processing of all the blots and gels (one reagent at a time will go to all the trays). Select aspirate to waste or either of 2 recovery containers. Minimum dispense volume is 10 mL per tray.

Clearing rinse can be activated or deactivated for each step individually.

Alarm at the end of the last step can be activated or deactivated. Color coded tubing simplify connections to bottles.

Multi-Dispense Features Can dispense different reagents to each tray. Reagents are dispensed from syringes on the dispense head. Multi-dispensed reagents cannot be recovered sperately.
